DMCA Takedowns and Counterclaims
Jumpstr places high importance on intellectual property rights. As part of our commitment to upholding legal compliance, best practices, and the credibility of our services, Jumpstr continuously ensures that our users only upload content they possess full rights to.
Was your content or material taken down from Jumpstr due to copyright claims? In line with the DMCA, Jumpstr welcomes counter-notices for copyright infringement reports. While we can't offer legal counsel, if you firmly believe that your content or material was wrongly identified or mistaken, you're free to submit your counter-notice to our Designated Copyright Agent as identified in the Terms.
Falsely asserting that the content or material is non-infringing or making other misleading claims can result in you being held responsible for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees). Fraudulent or abusive counter-notices or other misuse of Jumpstr’s services may lead to account termination or other legal outcomes.
Is this issue unrelated to Jumpstr? If your intellectual property has been uploaded via a service other than Jumpstr, regrettably, we are unable to assist. However, you can get in touch with each streaming service with a DMCA takedown request. You might need to search for each service's DMCA Takedown procedure, but here are several links to processes that we are aware of:
