I'm Switching from a Different Distribution Company to Jumpstr. What's the Process?

Transitioning to Jumpstr is no hard task. Here's the step-by-step process:

1. Visit your old distributor to issue takedowns of the releases you will transfer.

 
    
  
  1. Wait for all DSPs to remove the releases in full.

  2. Reupload your releases using Jumpstr.

Key Note : Be sure to transfer the identical metadata (song titles, album title, etc.) and audio files you previously used with your old distributor. In doing so, platforms (Spotiy in particular) will attempt to retain your play counts and your inclusion in playlists. We cannot ascertain this as it's beyond our control--but typically, that's the trend. However, take note that your reviews on iTunes and Amazon may be lost in the process. Jumpstr is currently unable to utilize externally generated ISRC and UPC codes. This may affect stream count retention.
