How to Add Featured Artists & Remix Credits the Right Way?
Got a collaboration? Amazing!
Jumpstr makes it easy to give proper credit to featured artists or remixers so your release looks professional everywhere.
How to Add Featuring Artists
When setting up your track, you’ll see the “Add featured artist to song title” section.
You have two options:
- No, don't show any other artists in song title — if it’s just you.
- Yes, add featured artists to track title — if someone else is featured or remixed your track.
If you select "Yes", you'll be able to:
- Add a Main Artist
- Add a Featured Artist (feat.)
- Add a Remixer (Remix)
Just type their names into the right fields!
You can even click "Add another featured artist" if there’s more than one collaborator. Jumpstr will automatically format everything for you correctly across Spotify, Apple Music, and all major platforms!
Example:
If your track is called Summer Nights and you add:
- Main Artist: You
- Featured Artist: DJ Breeze
- Remixer: Remix King
It would show up as:
Summer Nights (feat. DJ Breeze) [Remix King Remix]
No extra typing needed in your track title — we take care of the formatting magic!
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Don’t manually add "(feat. Name)" into the main track title yourself.
- Don’t list featured artists under your own main artist name unless they are truly co-primary.
- Avoid using emojis, website links, or social handles when crediting others.
Why It Matters?
Correct credits ensure your collaborators are properly recognized and your music looks professional across all platforms.
Plus, it helps with search results and recommendations too!
