How do I upload my first track?

At Jumpstr, we make it super easy to share your music with the world. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you upload your track or album in no time.

1. Log In and Click “Upload Music”

After logging into your Jumpstr account, you'll land on your Dashboard.

Click the purple "Upload music" button — you’ll see it right at the top or in the middle of the page. Let's lift off!

2. Choose: Single Song or Multiple Songs

Next, you’ll be asked:

"Do you want to release one or multiple songs?"

Single song – Ideal forfFor one track releases.
Multiple songs – Great forFor albums, EPs, or projects with more than one track.

Click "Upload single" or "Upload album" based on your release.

3. Set Your Release Date

You'll now decide when your music should be available:

Specify a date – Plan your release ahead (great for building hype!).
As soon as possible – Get it out into the world right away!

Pick the option that fits your plan.

4. Upload Cover Artwork

Time to make it visually pop!

Upload your artwork following these tips:

Recommended size: 3000x3000px, PNG format.
No website links, TikTok names, store logos, prices, pixelation, or poor-quality images.
Important: Make sure you have the rights to use the artwork.

Simply click "Select an image" and upload your cover!

5. Add Artist and Label Details

Now tell us who’s behind the magic:

Artist/Band Name: Your name, band name, or stage name (no emojis, please!).
Label Name (optional): If you want a label name displayed, you can add it here.

6. Fill In Music Info

Let’s describe your track:

Genre: Select the main genre.
Secondary/Sub-Genre (optional): Add another style if it fits.
Language: Pick the language of your song’s lyrics (or select English if instrumental).

7. Title and Extra Info

Time to title your masterpiece:

Song Title: Enter the main title (no featured artists here, we’ll add them separately!).
Version: Choose if it’s a Radio Edit or Other version — otherwise, keep it Standard.
Featured Artist: Add if there's someone featuring on your track.

Remember, platforms might slightly format your title differently, but we’ll make sure it looks good everywhere!

8. Upload Your Audio File

Almost there! 🎶

Lyrics or Instrumental: Let us know if the song has lyrics.
Original or Cover: Specify if it’s your own creation or a cover of another artist’s work.
Upload Audio: Select your audio file (WAV, MP3, M4A, FLAC, AIFF, WMA).
(Track length: 30 seconds to 15 minutes)

Click "Select an audio file" and upload your final version.

9. Mark Explicit Lyrics

Let us know if your track has explicit content so we can label it correctly across platforms.

10. Confirm and Submit

Before finishing up, please check the mandatory boxes to confirm:

You own the rights to distribute the music worldwide.
You're not using another artist’s name or work without permission.
You agree to Jumpstr’s Distribution Agreement.

After all that’s done — hit the “Done” button!

That’s it — your music is on its way!
