How do I update metadata, artwork, collaborators, or audio after upload?

Need to make a change after uploading your release?

No problem! At Jumpstr, we understand things evolve — here’s how to make updates depending on what you need to change.

If your release hasn't been submitted yet:

You can freely edit everything:

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click on the draft release you want to update
  3. Edit the metadata, artwork, collaborators, or audio files as needed
  4. Once ready, hit Submit to send it for review

If your release has already been submitted or approved:

Some fields are locked once a release is in processing or live on platforms. But don’t worry — you still have options. You can update your release directly using the update feature. This feature lets you change the:

  • change the audio or artwork;
  • revise metadata, such as titles or P&C lines;
  • add or remove tracks;

We understand the importance of being able to manage your catalogue directly! Please note that the update request will still go through an automatic and manual verification process. Once approved, DSPs will need several business days or longer to make the update live.

Track the Spotify profile or release directly to see the update!
