What happens if I want to change my artist name?

If you update your artist name on Jumpstr, keep in mind that it won’t automatically update your past releases.

Here's what you should know:

• New releases will reflect your updated artist name.
• Existing releases will continue to display the original artist name used at the time of upload.
• If you'd like to update the artist name on older releases, you'll need to request a takedown and reupload under the new name.

Quick tip: Some platforms treat each artist name as a separate profile. Changing your name may also affect how listeners find your previous music.
