I’m getting an error message

If something’s not working and you’re seeing an error message, don’t worry — we’ll help you sort it out. Here’s what to check first:


Common reasons you might see an error:

  • Missing required fields — Double-check that you’ve filled in everything: song title, artist name, genre, release date, artwork, and audio file.
  • Unsupported file formats —
    • Audio: Must be WAV, MP3, M4A, FLAC, or AIFF
    • Artwork: Should be a PNG file, 3000x3000px, and meet all our cover art guidelines
  • File too large or corrupted — Try re-exporting your audio or artwork and uploading again.
  • Special characters or emojis — Avoid using emojis or unusual punctuation in track titles, artist names, or metadata.
