My release didn’t go live or got delayed — why?
If your release didn’t show up on platforms as expected, don’t panic — there are a few common reasons this can happen, and most are easy to resolve.
Most common reasons for delays:
Release uploaded too close to the intended date
Some platforms need 2–5 days to process new releases. We recommend uploading at least 3 days in advance if you’re scheduling a release.
Metadata or file issues
Missing or incorrect info (like artwork size, ISRCs, or audio format) can delay approval or cause a rejection.
Takedown and re-upload in progress
If you recently requested a takedown and uploaded a new version, some platforms may take extra time to update the catalog.
DSP-specific processing time
Each platform has its own speed — some publish faster than others. It’s normal for a release to appear on one service before the rest.
What to do next:
- Double-check your release status under the Releases tab in your Dashboard.
- If the status is Approved, your music is on the way!
- If the status is Rejected, click into the release to see why.
